Gambier Island Annual Fundraising Auction

Home sweet home! Gloria Masse’s Gambier Island map is just as beautiful as the real thing (but it doesn't look exactly like the photo on the left!).

The artwork was published in “Islands in the Salish Sea: A Community Atlas” (© 2005) Edited by Sheila Harrington and Judi Stevenson, Preface by Robert Bateman, Forward by Briony Penn, History by Kathy Dunster. 

The original painting hangs in the lounge of Gambier’s Community Centre. This auction item is the LAST framed copy of the poster map. The finished framed dimensions of the poster are 30" tall by 22 1/4" wide. The frame is wood, there is a glass over the print, and it is wired for hanging.

Value: the unframed poster map sells for $50. This last framed edition is a collector's item!
